Training update

Summer Discounts on Public Courses Greetings from Charis Alexandra Training Ltd (CAT Training Ltd), we are offering on Public Courses during July and August. Our one day Public Courses are open to all, and offer affordable access to popular IT subjects. To help you better reach IT training, CAT training is offering Summer Sale discount rates on Public Courses in July and August – places can be booked at the discounted price of £100+VAT. Also, to offer even more flexibility for busy individuals, courses are being run on Saturdays during the Summer – with the hope this may help you find a course even easier. Over the past few months we have been very busy, improving our existing products as well as introducing new services listed below.
ISO 9001:2015
We are pleased to announce that we have achieved ISO 9001:2015, the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). The standard demonstrates the ability of organisations to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

ISO 9001 helps organisations ensure their customers consistently receive high quality products and services, which in turn brings many benefits, including satisfied customers, management and employees.
Because ISO 9001 specifies the requirements for an effective quality management system, organisations find that using the standard helps them:

•     Create satisfied customers, management and employees


Public Courses

Public courses are becoming ever more popular for both private individuals and companies.
January we set the daily rate at £125+VAT per person, making us one of the most competitive training suppliers in London.


The most common questions we are asked:

Q) “How many students per class?”, “other providers have many more students per class and some cases have to share a computer”

A) At our London office our PC rooms can accommodate eight students. Each with a 23” screen computer, as well as a trainer PC and projector.Onsite courses, if you have suitable facilities, we will deliver to larger groups

Q) “Do you provide Materials?”

A) Yes, anyone attending our training courses has access to our online materials. Login details are provided by the trainer on the day.

Q) “Why are your training materials only available on line”?

A) We do this for two reasons: firstly, we are a green company, 98% of our work is paperless and secondly, it allows us to regulate our prices.

Q) “How do public courses differ to dedicated group bookings?”

A) The main difference between public courses and group bookings is that for group bookings, course content can be tailored.

Q)  “How can you offer these courses at such low prices?”

A) Quality training at affordable prices – when we started delivering public courses we offered only the most popular courses. We now have expanded this to practically all the Microsoft Office suite, as our courses get more popular new courses will be added.


Training Vouchers

We have been asked over the past few years if we could offer loyalty discounts. As of August we will be introducing two schemes, one for individuals and a corporate scheme.  Both schemes are pre-paid with no expiry date:


Individual Voucher Scheme

The individual voucher scheme is for individuals wishing to attend a public class.
Book five public courses and get one course free.
Book ten public courses and get three free.


Corporate Voucher Scheme

The corporate voucher scheme is aimed at companies wishing to book closed courses either at our training office or onsite.
The benefit of the prepaid voucher is that we will apply a discount of £100 per course as well as for every ten courses you get one course free.
For onsite courses outside the M25, travel expenses are charged as normal.


New Joiners

This month we welcome Mathew Wood to our training team. Mathew brings with him over 20 years of training experience, Mathew will be delivering Microsoft Project, Access and Excel to advanced level including VBA.
In addition to training, Mathew will also be providing his skills as a database developer.

Course Evaluations

Course evaluations are an important way to feed back any concerns as well as an indication of individual’s ongoing training needs.
When you book your course please let us know if you wish the completed course evaluations to be emailed back to your course organiser.

On request we can provide electronic certificates of attendance. We are an authorised Microsoft Office testing centre and can help you earn your Microsoft accredited certificate, the cost of these courses are a set price by Microsoft. For more information, Certified Training


TNA (Trainer Needs Analysis)

If you are not sure which course level to attend for you or your team require we can provide a set of TNA questions for each subject. Tick the boxes and send them back to us. We will then advise on which course will best meet your needs. TNA Form


Ongoing Support

Training does not end at the end of the day. We have setup a dedicated support email address. Address details will be provided by your trainer.
